These designs for a hypothetical Cloudwater beer rollout were inspired by Cloudwater’s passion for the seasons, which I eventually turned into a more vibrant personal project.
The chosen route was having each design feature an unorthodox collage design featuring small people interacting with normal sized plants. Each design intends to symbolise the season associated with the beer, through the activity, plant, and background colour.

Initial exercise - turning concept art into a full design using Photoshop

First round of finalised designs

Some time after completing this brief, I presented this work to a group of designers, who encouraged me to develop these pieces into an illustration project, due to the potential of having more creative control, rather than relying solely on stock imagery and blending in Photoshop.

Various lino printing iterations, experimenting with detail

To separate the drawing into segments, I used Lino printing to help the foliage to stand out, as well as assisting it in looking more organic, and to contrast against the digital illustration aspect.
