Tempo is a music magazine featuring an issue revolving around punk music. As part of a fictitious brief for NME Music, my aim was to produce a cover page and article detailing uncommon perspectives on music theory; I chose to cover Punk music.
My take on this was to use the theme of duality, which I visualised with ripped paper, where punk artists have the the rebellious and energetic side that they show in their music, but they may have another side to them in private.

Design process for the magazine cover - expressing duality in Punk singers

Moving onto the article design, I was provided with the body copy and imagery, so it was up to me to showcase my editorial skills and adhere to the themes that I set out with the cover, again implying duality having the punk images on one side and the standard paper on the other.
